Help....14 dpo has this happen to u?!?!?!

Ok, here's my dilemma. I'm 14 dpo no Af and I took a hpt which was negative but I went to my Dr and he did a blood sample which gave me a bfp. Has this happen to anyone? Is it still too early? Am I or am I not pregnant? Pls help to ease my nerves!!!
