What is everyone's experiences with belly button piercings?!

How long did yours take to heal?

How bad did the piercing hurt at the time it was done?

How long did it hurt following having it done?

Any do's & don'ts?

I'm on a weight loss journey, I currently weigh 185 & am hoping to get down around 155-160 (possibly more after that, I'm 5'8) & plan to use getting my belly button pierced as an incentive aside from just being more confident!

My biggest concern is, I'm leaving for vacation at the beach on June 1st, so I'd really like for it to be healed prior to, so I don't have to worry about getting in the water, etc. How soon prior to June first should I get it done?
