Boss called me a pain in the ass..

to another employee after I called in sick to work yesterday. I work retail and understand it was busy but I had a fever over 100 most of the night/morning and hardly was able to leave the bathroom due to getting ill. I'm pissed bc I don't call in unless absolutely necessar aka I'm contagious. I know it's the Sunday after black Friday and we were supposed to be super busy (I work retail) but this is super unprofessional. I've been working 40+ hour weeks. I barely get to see my husband and 11 week old daughter. and if I'm lucky I get to see my step daughter for about an hour a week. I clock in early and stay late when needed. I've left a message with my district manager to discuss and request a transfer to another store but haven't heard back from him yet. what do you all think?
