Blankets and pillow for bedtime??

My daughter is 14 months old and every night she wears a sleep sack to bed. My MIL said I should give her a pillow and blanket now, but I’m still nervous😐 What does your LO sleep with?

We use a sleep sack and will stay continue until we make the switch to a toddler bed. He can’t kick it off so he stays warm and cozy and it helps deter him from trying to climb out of the crib. There’s really no point to giving them a blanket they’ll kick off and the same for a pillow. My son has a small stuffed rabbit and a lovey but he winds up throwing them to the side through the night. My husband gave him a toddler pillow a few weeks ago and he threw it out of his crib 🤣

My son has a blanket, but no pillow. He sleeps on his stomach most of the time and doesn't adjust much so I just lay it over him and tuck it into the sides of the mattress/crib after he's down. I've let him have one since he started walking. He's always hated swaddling/sleep sacks and its too cold to expect him to just sleep in warm jammies. Even with the heat on, he really needs a blanket.

Mine has blankets and stuffed animals in his crib, but I’m not worried because he can move away and/or stand up if he needs to.

I just gave my son a blanket this week. I'm still nervous about it, but it seems to be fine. He doesn't use it to cover himself but he does like to rub his face on it. Otherwise he has two lovies in his crib.

His sleep sack and a few stuffed toys, lovey included. I tried giving him a blanket once and it didn’t stay on at all. Plus the sleep sack keeps him from trying to climb out for now.

Our girl loves to hug blankets and to make them touch her face . So she sleeps with swaddle blanket on top of her most of the time. If it is cold I just throw warm blanket on her legs or up to the tummy. She has her own pillow that we got her for 1st birthday and she loves it.It's called "little sleepy head toddler pillow from Amazon" She has stuffed toys in her crib that sometimes she hugs them and sleeps with them . However she all over the bed at night .

When my daughter was stuffy I put a pillow under the crib sheet to elevate her head a little at night and she slept so much better we have left it there. Since it's under the sheet she can't move it or get under it.  I still put her in zip up footies to sleep every night with no blanket since it's cold here in Chicago.
