So I’m currently on my 4th round of Clomid, 50mg. Ovulation was confirmed and my progesterone levels were great my first round, so my doctor is keeping me on 50mg. Per my OPKs I seem to have ovulated sometime between cycle day 18-20. I got my first positive opk on cycle day 18, also had another strong positive on cycle day 19 and then it goes back to negative on cycle day 20.

My symptoms were bad hot flashes, about 2 days after I finish my Clomid pills (5-9) and they usually last up until a week and a half after ovulation. Very tender breast about a week after finishing Clomid pills. I also have a major increase in cm (have to wear panty liners) that usually starts about the same time the hot flashes do and last until my next period. I also get decent ovulation pains (assumed) usually on my left side only. And I seem to be bloated/constipated pretty much shortly after I finish the Clomid pills up until my next period.

That’s how it was my first, second and third round. All exactly the same. My period started on the same day as well, cycle day 35.

Now this cycle seems different, my hot flashes started after my second pill, but have seem to be going away already (I’m on cycle day 20) I’m still getting them, but not as often as I have my previous rounds. My increased cm also didn’t last that long, I immediately had increased cm right after my period was over and it seemed to dry up some about 5 days after finishing my Clomid pills. It’s still increased, but again, not like my previous cycles (no panty liner needed). Also, my boobs are not sore, like at all and since I’m on cycle day 20, per my previous rounds, my boobs should be very tender by now. I’m still bloated/constipated, but again not as bad as before. Also, I didn’t get any ovulation pains like I did before, that I noticed anyway. I seem to have some pains on the right side this afternoon, but not sure if that’s gas or not lol. If I wouldn’t have used OPKs, I would think I didn’t ovulate, but cycle day 18 hit and I got a very strong positive and again a strong positive on cycle day 19 and back to negative today, just like my other rounds. That is really the only thing that has been the same as my previous cycles. Anyone experience this? Should I be concerned the Clomid may not work this round? Or could this be a good thing? Maybe? Lol
