Growth spurt??

My month old boy ever since last week was wiggling around a lot after feedings (3-3 1/2oz.)when trying to burp him (exclusively pump/bottlefed). LastThursday asked the peds doctor if we should feed him more. She said to feed him 4oz and then increase to 4 1/2-5oz overtime if he wants. Well since that day we increased to 4 and whenever burping him or sometimes directly after taking the empty bottle out of his mouth he starts crying. I had him fed 5oz once last night and he still cried. He also has been randomly having crying spells throughout the day where we have a hard time stopping it. Is this a growth spurt? What should i do?
