FTM precious baby born 11/22 and I have been exclusively breastfeeding him he was 8lbs 2 oz at birth. At his 5 day old checkup he weighed 7lbs 2 oz which means he has lost 1 pound. My milk didn’t come in til yesterday. The pediatrician said everything looks great and we will do a weight check when he is two weeks old. I just feel that’s too much weight to have lost. Should I supplement? He sleeps well between feedings and pees and poops the proper amount. He is slightly jaundiced which scares me as well. I have a breast pump and I tried and just cried in pain. I couldn’t handle it. Any advice? Thanks so much!
