Baby fever ?!

So, My son just turned 4 months old yesterday and I have really bad baby fever again, I’ve talked to my fiancé and he said he agrees and wants another baby soon as well. how many of you mommas had babies really close in age and what was it like? What should I expect??

you will most likely be very overwhelmed and stressed out. talk to mamas who have twins lol. also, it's best for your body to let it heal and build up all its nutrients again to decrease the risk of miscarriage. it will be harder for you to get back in shape as well. I think waiting until baby is sleeping well will also help, too. you don't have to wait forever, my husband and his sister are 18 months apart, you can still have them close together! but focus on #1 for a while, this baby needs all your attention and it's hard to care for a very young baby when you are pregnant. but ultimately it's up to what you want and think you can handle. :)

A friend of mine had 2 kids back to back. Although she was happy she would get stressed out and cry a lot because she said by having a second baby she missed out on a lot of the first things for the other baby. She said she missed having time with him while he was still little because she was taking care of his brother.

although I have NO baby fever lol my little one will be 4 months next week. I remember my obgyn telling me if we wanted to have another wait at least a year to give your body enough time to fully recover. Good luck with whatever you two decide!

I have 18.5 months between my son and daughter. There will be 19.5 months between my daughter and the next one (due in May). I really like the age gap I have. My son did really well with the transition they learn and adjust. I think my daughter will be a bit more clingy (he literally did not care for over a month she was around then her started to take care of her). She’s more motherly so I think she will be Clingy yet want to care for the baby to. Every family is different if you feel your ready then go for it!

I’m pregnant with my first so it’s not my parenting experience, but my dad and his wife have a 3 year old an almost two year old, and just be prepared for a lot of diapers, fighting, and instead of one baby on your hip you will have two! The older of the two may still be clingy because he will see the baby being -well, babied lol. Nothing wrong with it though baby dust to you!!!!
