Maternity pictures! ❤️

I’m a lurker on here, lol. Glow reminds me to take my prenatals! Recently, I’ve been feeling down because our house flooded due to Hurricane Harvey down here in Houston. So my pregnancy isn’t going quite as expected. I’m not in my own house, I can’t nest, and everything just seems more difficult. I want to feel more joy than I do. I just thought I’d be happier and all the house stuff and dealing with FEMA is bringing me down. I see pictures of nurseries already finished and I don’t even have a livable home yet.

Some local Houston photographers got together and offered free mini sessions to flood victims. My husband and I received one. These pictures help me feel like a “normal” pregnant lady. I’ve only seen one picture, but gosh it is beautiful.
