My LO has his first shots a week before Thanksgiving. He had 2 shots, plus the rotavirus oral syringe. First of all, the nurse seemed really rough when she stabbed him, and you’d think they would learn to be more gentle in a pediatrics office! My poor guy cried harder than I’ve ever seen him cry and it broke my heart. The following week he was SO fussy, which was unfortunate because he met my husband’s parents for the first time that week. I’m definitely pro vaccines, but I’m wondering about delayed shot schedules now. I don’t want him to go through that again next time. One shot at a time seems more than enough! How many of you have delayed your LOs shots? What was your reasoning and what schedule did you follow?
