Best foundation?

I’ve been using NYX total control drop foundation but it doesn’t seem the right foundation for my skin type it’s too dark and goes patchy any good foundations you use??

I’ve purchased a few high end foundations from Too faced, Lancome,clinique and tarte . They haven’t really worked for me (also Too faced was the only one that matched my skin shade out of all of them) but I recently purchased the l’oreal pro glow and it works way better than my high end ones !

Limelight by Alcone is a professional make up with 50% pigment which means u use less product. Our company use to only sale to makeup artist for the red carpet and movies. It is now open to the public for the last 2 yrs. It is made to sit on the top layer of your skin therefore is does not clog pores or break ur face out! If you’re okay with spending money, I’d suggest Urban Decay All Nighter foundation if you’re looking for more of a dewy finish. I’ve seen mixed reviews for it, but it works really well for me. It does oxidize, but I found a shade that matches my skin tone for when that happens. You can go somewhere like Sephora and they’ll match your skin tone to a shade. 
I also really love Kat Von D lock it foundation if I’m looking for a matte finish. Its my absolute favorite because of the amazing coverage, and lasts all day. It’s also on the more expensive side, but completely worth it. 
For a more affordable option, you could try L’Oréal pro matte/glow (both options available). Really good coverage and stays on all day for me.
I did once try the NYX drop foundation and I had no luck with it either.

I use Fenty as it matched my skin tone so well I didn't think I had applied enough 😂 It doesn't dry up my skin or make me oily. 
Another good foundation is the Fit Me line from Maybelline. It isn't patchy either, just very creamy so be careful applying. Just use little drops. It comes in a wide range of colors. I used it for prom so it's my favorite drugstore brand!! 😁
