Coconut Oil for Lube?

Question

I was just reading a different post where a few people recommended coconut oil as a lubrication during sex. So this is a thing?? I don't use lube often (I only have one bottle of durex and HATE the sticky residue). 
Are there certain types of coconut oil you have to use? 
It's safe/harmless to enter your vagina? 
Does it keep things, well, lubricated during sex? 
Are there any side affects? 
I'm a little perplexed by this information haha 😅😅

Coconut oil is our go-to. It is awesome. Great as a lube, and moisturizes your skin at the same time, lol. Have never had any kind of infection at all, and have used it pretty much daily for 3 years. Just buy a high-quality extra virgin kind, don't buy the cheapest. We don't use condoms so I havent looked into this, but I have seen people say you cant use it with condoms.

coconut oil for sure! I don't need lube often either but I cook with coconut oil... never need to buy lube, I just keep a separate container!!!

Coconut oil is amazinggggg and I use it as lube for foreplay. Plus it tastes good and moisturizes skin. It’s a win win.

I use coconut oil versus lube because of the sperm killing stuff inside. I'm trying to conceive and this works for me.
