my baby from day 1 has never nursed long. he always had adequate wet diapers though just pay attention to the amount of diapers as long as that is good then maybe your baby is just an effective latcher and you have a fast let down

Mine has done this at times. If she has been doing it several times in a row I burp her, change her, and then see if she wants more. Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn’t. They’re not going to let themselves starve, though!

Make sure he is getting enough to eat. Maybe try pumping and seeing if you are getting milk out. Is he crying a lot?
