I went for my prenatal bloodwork/testing on 11/14 and here we are 2 weeks later- my Dr calls to tell me I came back positive for group b strep. I'm currently 9w3d. She's putting me on penicillin for 2 weeks.

Will I have this my whole pregnancy or is it possible it could go away? I know they test for it between 35-37 weeks as well then it's recommended to have an antibiotic IV fluid during delivery if that's positive.

Just curious if anyone else has any input, thoughts etc.
