When did your baby start sitting up with no help?

My daughter is 6 months and she still fully can’t sit up on her own . Only for about 15 seconds she’ll sit up then she will fall over or to the side

It is a matter of a days difference. lol. One day my DS couldn't sit up unless supported .. next thing I know he's sitting JUST FINE all on his own. Randomly. Like we didn't even work on it really lol.

How big is your Baby? I just had a checkup with my Ped, my LO can't sit up, is 5.5mo, 23lbs and sturdy. She told me sometimes larger babies take longer because they have more to support. Besides, it's not something to worry about until your baby is 8-9mo old and can't sit up unassisted. All babies are different! Don't compare your babies to others, I know it's hard. They develop in their own time 💕
