Would you pay to update schools from outdated/inaccurate books to tablets?

With more and more public school textbook errors coming to light, with some downright offensive inaccuracies and schools claiming they don’t have enough money to replace them, would you be willing to pay a fee at the beginning of each of your child’s school year for the purchase of tablets across all schools nationwide? Electronic textbooks would allow for real time updates of information, as well as give the students the capability to research further on a topic quicker and easier with more accurate results. Currently, some schools have opted to purchase personal tablets for students and have attested to their benefits, but unfortunately this is only in private and more affluent schools.
