Kyleena or Skyla??????

Question

Has anyone experienced hairloss with either one of them? I’m thinking of getting Kyleena? I haven’t heard anything bad about it. Please post your experience.

I’ve had Kyleena for about 2.5 months now. The only side effects I have experience are spotting and cramping around the time of my period and an increase in acne which sucks.

I have Kyleena! I’ve had it for just over two months. The insertion wasn’t bad, more uncomfortable than anything (and I’ve never been pregnant), but I also took Aleve (naproxen), which is said to help more than other otc pain meds. I had some acne, but it wore off about a month and a half in. I’ve also lost 8 pounds (!!!) since insertion, which I’m 100% okay with. I do still get some random cramping, which can be minimal or intense... but my doctor said it’s normal within the first few months. It’s definitely become less frequent- maybe once a week now!

I literally got kyleena inserted about two hours ago... the insertion pain was horrendous!!! Though it lasted about 5 secs it was hell I swear! The ibuprofen did not help at all

I had the Skyla for about a year. Insertion was painful, and so was getting it taken out. Kind of like a huge cramp. But I never had any side effects from it.

I have Kyleena, I haven’t experienced any hair loss and my only “symptom” is more noticeable cramps around my period. Advil takes care of them.
