To cloth or not? - Cloth diaper raffle

So my husband and I are considering cloth diapering our baby. We were originally interested in natural disposable diapers like seventh gen or honest co. I wanted to do a diaper raffle where people bring a box of diapers to the gender reveal and get entered to win a gift card of some sort. My question is, if we cloth diaper, do any of you have an idea how to do the diaper raffle for cloth? I've thought of asking for a gift card to purchase the cloth diaper of our choice, or having them bring in a cloth diaper instead of a box of diapers. All to be entered into the raffle the same way as disposables. I certainly don't want to be "asking for gift cards" as it's just a little raffle. I think it would help us out and I know my family would participate. Any advice? Any advice on wording it on the invitation? Have any of you done this?

I know you said you dont want to just ask for cash or gift cards. Just giving some of my experience- my family still (lo is 16 mo) can't get him the right diapers. They try to get them for holidays or his birthday and it's never the right brand or kind even though I've told them a million times. They all say it's too complicated. Which I do get, it can be.
Anyway, my best advice if you dont want to do money is to make a wish list online, amazon is probably best, that will have a link everyone can go to and just click what diaper you want and buy it from there. That's more then likely going to be the easiest way. Good luck. Post an update how it goes and what y'all decide

I had my shower at the beginning of November, and had a registry set up at kangacare.com
I specifically asked for absolutely no disposable diapers, since I was using cloth.
I had a hefty prize for a “diaper raffle” as well.
How many cloth diapers did I receive at my shower from my guests?
Absolutely none
Zero
Not a single cloth diaper was gifted.
Don’t be disappointed if people are too intimidated to purchase cloth for you

A lot of people don't know about modern cloth diapers and automatically think of the flats with old school rubber pants. If you do ask for cloth, I suggest adding something to show what they look like and the best place to buy them. Most of them need to be bough on line and for those who know nothing about cloth, shopping can be quite confusing and they might just end up getting what they know which would be disposables. I would probably honestly just ask for gift card, you can even list a few different sites and ask for a gift card for them.

I got most of my diaper stash from the diaper raffle at my shower 
I put it on the invitations
“For your chance to win a prize, bring a Cloth diaper of any size”
“This eco friendly mommy will be cloth diapering”

Tell them to order you any kind of diaper from kellyscloset.com, nickisdiapers.com, or cottonbabies.com. This is where I've ordered all of my cloth diapers from. Maybe specify if you want AIO's, pockets, or covers.. or if you don't care let them pick and you'll have a wide variety! Variety is good anyways because you never know what you'll like and what will fit baby right.

We did this! We knew we would do disposables and cloth both. We put a ticket for the diaper raffle in with the invitation and said we were planning to cloth diaper as well and they could be found on our Amazon registry. If someone brought one cloth diaper or a pack of diapers, we treated it the same.
