Maternity leave

I was told by a dr that I could not work full time anymore due to possibly going into preterm labor from stress. So I took every Thursday off. I told my job this and they made it so for every Thursday I don’t work, they take a day off my maternity leave. Now I have 9 wks instead of 12. As of right now I am 38 weeks 3 days. I work an hour from home. Usually it takes about 2 hours to get back home because of traffic. I’m due dec. 12. My back is in so much pain I can’t do that drive anymore😭 I’m so stressed out but I need time with my baby too. How crazy would it be to start my maternity leave on dec 5th and hopefully find a new job in the meantime or will it be too stressful? First time mom. Idk what to do.
