Unsupportive husband

Has anyone else’s husbands been super unsupportive throughout their pregnancy? I’m currently 39 weeks pregnant, and this is our first.

First off, I got a hip Injury during basic training that led me having to get out, and then a year later I’m still not fully recovered, and then on top of that I get pregnant. I currently get extreme pelvic pain from walking, sitting up, even just standing at times... dunno if it’s because of my hips or the pressure from the weight of my belly, but every time I complain about the pain, my husband turns it around and complains about his own aches and pains. He was in the marine corps and got out with some injuries... I understand that he has pains as well, but I’m not talking about your pains, I’m talking about mine!

I’ve also been slacking on my “wifely duties”... cooking, cleaning... it all just hurts to do! So I’ve been taking it easy on myself, which I would think is understandable, but then he comes home from work complaining about every little thing that isn’t done and calls me lazy for it. And it’s not like I don’t do anything all day and the house is a complete mess! I still clean things up when I can, it’s just not up to standards of how I cleaned before I was pregnant. And he doesn’t even acknowledge what I did accomplish and it’s just making me so angry!!

So we ended up getting into a fight... and these pregnancy hormones are just crazy right now... I threw a PB&J; sandwich at him 🤦🏻‍♀️ totally regret it now... I was looking forward to eating it 😖

But it’s all so frustrating... especially since I have friends on Facebook who are also pregnant right now, talking about how great their husbands have been and how understanding and helpful... not mine!!!

On a brighter note, I’m having my c-section in just 3 days!! Super excited to meet my little one! 😍
