Cold relief?

Question

I'm almost 37 weeks and have a terrible cold! (Better now than when baby's here I guess) 
What remedies do you ladies have that help? I've been drinking a lot of water and eating honey for my throat but now I have a runny nose and 3 more days before I go on maternity leave :(

Hot water with honey and lemon and also nasal sinus rinses work wonders

I know how you feel! I just got over a pretty nasty cold at 36 weeks. What I found to help with my nose was getting some tea tree oil or some eucalyptus oil and smelling it or putting a few drops into a hot bath. With the sore throat/coughing hot water with lemon and honey was the way to go and for headaches/joint pain I used paracetamol (100% safe for pregnancy according to my midwife). Also try and sleep as much as you can and try keep super hydrated. That's what helped me, I hope you feel better soon!!
