Is a 5cm complex multi septated cyst something to worry about?

Hi everyone! I’m 19 years old and currently dealing with a 5cm complex multi septated cyst. My doctor told me that it is likely made of tissue or blood, not regular ovarian cyst fluid. I️ don’t have PCOS. Ive missed two periods because of it and my bloating is making me look 5 months pregnant.

I️ had an ultrasound for cramping in July, with a clear right ovary.

Now, in November, I️ was told I️ now have a ovarian cyst the size of my ovary. 5cm. It is also causing my ovary to swell.

I’ve seen two physicians about It and going to see a specialist soon. One doctor isn’t worried about it and told me It will just go away. The other doctor says it looks to be made of complicated material, and has grown rapidly, and that even if benign I️ should have it removed for the safety of my future fertility.

So, the two doctors have completely different opinions and are reading the ultrasound completely differently.

My hair has been falling out and I’ve become anemic since the cyst has arrived, which one doctor thinks may because of small internal bleeding. I’m taking iron daily and my iron is still below 10.

I’m seeing multiple physicians on this, I’m more asking to see if there are any of you out there who have experienced similar diagnosis’s with similar or more symptoms, and what ended up happening with it.

Did it go away? Did you have it removed? Did you end up being diagnosed with PCOS? Should I️ be at all concerned or just stop worrying about which physician is correct?
