Question

How many people checks your body basal temp? I don’t know anything about it & was just curious if it would really help.

I track it. It helps with confirming you are ovulating. It is a helpful tool when combined with OPKs or other forms of tracking such a CM and CP. Once you get a positive OPK within 36hrs you should see a rise in your temps which will let you know that you did successfully ovulate. When it comes to tracking your BBT you need to be consistent and get your temp the same time each day, after at least 3 hours of solid sleep. You need to take it before you do anything, move, talk, yawn etc. Also keep in mind BBT charting is about the big picture and patterns so it can be tough to interpret until you a have a few months of data.

I also used fertility friend to track my cycle I felt it was more accurate at predicting than Glow.

I didn't know if I was ovulating or not so instead of buying tons of ovulation tests I tracked my BBT for several months and while bot all charts will show a clear date of ovulation, I always thought mine did. I get pregnant on my second month TTC.
