me and my boyfriend are both white and in 11th grade. One day at lunch he was like staring at a group if black girls and he was like I hate black people only some of them are okay. I was like he did not just say that... I love him but that’s really shitty of him so idk like should I break up with him over that or like what?? I just don’t think that’s cool

that just shows ignorance. you’re 16/17 years old, that’s enough time to have your own experiences and form your own opinions, no matter how you were raised. if you think you can help him learn and change his mind then good for you, but i would personally break up with him.
