Sharing baby's name before birth?

If you don't care about someone else's opinion of the name you chose, would you share it before baby arrives?

I only voted "no" because I know how often my husband and I have changed our minds about names so we're waiting till we see baby's face in person to decide what he/she looks like!

For me personally, I shared my son's name. I absolutely love his name Tobias Everett, so it doesn't really bother me if someone says they don't like it. Simply because I love it and when I heard it, it just sounded like my son's name. Everett is after my great-grandpa and I wanted to honor him and Tobias was just a strong biblical name I love. It also doesn't bother me if other mothers "steal" his name, if they love it and it feels like their child's name, it doesn't really bother me that much. Maybe I'm strange.

We've shared babies name with family & close friends but we aren't telling everybody because we just don't care to hear everyone's input nor do we want someone "stealing" our name as they did when we were just throwing out ideas!

My so and I won't share the name options with anyone except maybe close friends or family. We don't plan on knowing the gender either so we will probably narrow it down to 2 boy and 2 girl names.

we announced at our gender reveal party. made it more official so ppl are less likely to bad mouth ur decision but ppl still have time to monogram gifts...

My husband told me our sons name as my Mother's Day gift cause that's all I wanted then Monday we went to my dads an stepmom scan signed his name in the card as we all his parents they all loved it, but I believe in telling everyone the name before that way the baby has their own identity an already everyone has gotten use to the name before they come. Also did it with my first baby also, but to each their own.

We shared our name at 5 months when we found out the gender. We had already picked both a boy and girl name, so we were excited to share with everyone. I don't really care about anyone's opinions, because me and my husband love our soon to be daughters name. 🎀Madisyn Mirai🎀
