Difference between making love and just having sex?

In your personal opinion, what does making love look like, oppose to what a casual hookup looks like. I really wanna know what people’s views are on it. Because either way you’re connecting with someone intimately.

i agree. it’s both intimate. but having experienced both it just felt like fucking. like really, it’s a pleasure thing when you’re hooking up, with my ex, it was never making love when i thought that’s what it was. i remember when me and my boyfriend now we’re doing it and in the middle he just said “babe, i love you” and i actually felt it and i knew at that moment it was more than just sex
