Tubal Flushing & BFP....anyone?

35 years old ttc #4. So after almost 2 years of ttc our rainbow baby, my boyfriend and I have begun the process of fertlity diagnosis & treatment. (Other kids are not his). Monday I'm scheduled for my hsg tubal flushing. This will tell if my tubes are clear and unscared. My question is, has anyone had this followed by a bfp? Doctor says it can help make you fertile as the dye is used to flush and can act as a cleaning agent. I have done some research but also looking for honest answers. Also, how was the pain? I read that's it's very painful, what were your experiences for the ladies who have done the tubal flushing?

Both times I got an hsg I have gotten a bfp within a few months.

Not sure if that's what I had done but it sounds similar. We'd been trying for awhile and no luck couldn't figure out why was reccommended by my doctor to have tests done including this test that blew air or something like that thru my fallopian tubes etc to check for any issues from my ovaries down. I won't lie it hurt alot. All my tests came back normal. I ended up getting pregnant about a month later we was estatic. At my  check up we heard  the heart beat but itwas really really low doctors said it would probably not survive 2 weeks later it was confirmed we lost the baby. It was horrible after being so excited. But it took alittle over a year but I'm pregnant again this time with twin boys I'm 34w 2d so far our boys are healthy and growing ahead of schedule. Can't wait to meet these boys . Good luck to you guys

I got pregnant the cycle of my hsg! I didn’t think it was bad at all. I took 4 Advil prior to the procedure and it just felt like period cramps for a minute or two. Good luck!

My HSG wasn’t very painful. Mild cramping when contrast injected. Tubes clear. Just had it this month!  Now the sonohyst was really painful!

I had HSG done last year I took some ibuprofen 600mg about half hour before my appointment. I just felt a few period like cramps and that’s it, I didn’t fall pregnant and it showed I have a blocked left tube. But good luck to you xxx

My hsg was awful! But he said it’s bc he pushed the dye in so hard bc I was completely blocked. He was unable to clear them so I went on to a laparoscopic hsg, and d&c.; That was 8-16...one tube unblocked but still not preggo..

I had an hsg, it wasn’t painful, which was a plus, but it didn’t help me get pregnant.
