TTC after miscarriage

I was wondering how long people waited to start TTC after miscarriage (with a D&C;)? I’ve had a few doctors tell me different things some have said 3 months other say after first period. My story: Went in at 6 weeks and heard the heartbeat but the yolk sac was slightly enlarged. This is obviously not a great sign. Went back at 8 weeks and while the baby measured exactly 8 weeks, there was no longer a heart beat. Had a d&c; the next day. I wish I had answers. I think that’s the hardest part. Anyone have a similar situation? How long after miscarrying did you start trying?
