“You deserve better”
This is such a cliché line. I’ve been told this twice by two different guys I have dated. That I deserve better. The most recent I dated him for about a month and told me this. It was long distance I went up to see him. But he wouldn’t come to see me or “didn’t make the time”. Then he decides to say that he doesn’t know exactly what he wants. A relationship or not. Totally different from saying I deserve better.
