Souls

I’ve heard a few theories about how our body comes to be the home for our soul/spirit.

The first is that we develop a soul soon after conception. Our framework is set in place and once we have a heart, nervous system, etc our soul develops or spontaneously arrives in our body.

Another is that we develop a soul after we are born. Perhaps the moment of birth breathes our soul into us.

Another still is that our souls actually choose our parents. We are held in some sort of holding space before conception and we choose to exist among 2 people who create our body. When we die, our soul goes back to this holding space.
