I’m In 7th grade now. So I’ve known this guy since birth. And we are kinda close. It wasn’t till about 3rd grade when we first started talking. He invited me to his house for New Years in 3rd grade and and it kinda became a tradition. Keep in mind we were family friends and we like each other. One day he asks me to go to tennis camp with him at our country club and I said yes. But half way through the morning portion of the camp he switches to golf camp with his friends and doesn’t even tell me. I called my mom and left at lunch. We would text like every night and sometimes he would start fights with me for no reason. Then he kept calling me fat and saying I had no friends and stuff. But I loved him it was just an unexplainable feeling. Fast forward 2 years I am still talking to him and we are good friends and he’s so sweet to me now and is kinda sorry abt the past. I still kinda like him and it’s been 5 years. I don’t know what to do. Keep in mind he told me all of that mean stuff almost every day for a year and almost killed my self. Should I be friends with him and maybe go for it. I don’t know what to do help!!
