Diaper and Sprinkle Showers?

I feel kind of dumb asking this, I just found out I'm pregnant with baby number 2 so I've been looking in this group and I keep seeing stuff about diaper showers and sprinkle showers, can someone please explain what exactly each are? Thank you in advance!

Usually it’s just a smaller get together usually at someone’s home where people just celebrate having another baby usually if the person is having the other gender and may not have enough clothes and such or if the kids are far apart and the person might not have any of the first child’s stuff to use anymore, some people throw a diaper party instead of asking for gifts each person brings a small package of diapers

They are just smaller versions of a baby shower. Some people just asks guests to bring a pack of diapers and have a small get together to celebrate the baby.
