so i have two piercings, my first and seconds, and they smell really bad, i do clean them every 2-3 days with the spray that the ear piercer gave me. i’ve tried this, detol, sanitary wipe, pretty much everything.. what else can i do to stop my ears smelling like off cheese
If it's the smell I'm familiar with, nothing is wrong. Unfortunately you're smelling dead flesh. It happens as your ears actively try to close the holes and dispel the foreign object (the earring) from your body, while the earring is trying to keep it open. It's normal, and won't go away entirely, just will have ebbs and flows of the strength of smell.
I don't notice it now unless I mess with or twirl my earrings a lot in one day.
Clean your jewellery as well.
You could have an infection
Clean them daily maybe. When showering scrub behind ears.
