are all of you Mom's in the 3rd trimester counting kicks?

Question

My nurse told me to count kicks everyday, baby should kick 10 times in about 30 min but give it an hour before you call the doctor, she was doing real good last week, would get her kicks done in about 17 min or so but the last couple of days it's been taking nearly the whole hour to get them done

Mine is so active I don’t bother counting.

My OB told me to only worry about it if babies active times seem to lessen or if I don’t feel him move regularly

Its 6 kicks in 2 hours for me here in Canada.  But to be honest... my baby moves all the time.  I end up feeling him so much I just don’t even take in count sometimes.    I’m 30w

I have an anterior placenta so I don’t feel her kick very often at all. My dr. hasn’t mentioned anything about counting kicks.

I haven't been doing it every day. I know when the "busy" times are so I try to note whether or not he's moving around that time. If I feel like he's not I take a break and do an actual kick count. Make sure you're doing your counts around the same time each day though the nurse told me that babies are sort of on a schedule in there by now anyway and to not freak out if there are some times hes not moving all over the place

Nope. I️ pay attention to her movements to make sure it’s normal for her. She is randomly active through the day and really active in the evening. 29 weeks.

Interesting—my midwife said 10 kicks/movements in 2 hours, once a day...she did mention that when she was researching, there were a whole range of “kick counts” that providers use. There have been a few nights when I’ve freaked myself out because he/she wasn’t as active as he/she usually is at night, but then everything was normal the next day. She did say it can vary...

Told me to start at 25 weeks. Should get 10 kicks in 2 hours. Interesting how there are so many different guidelines. 
I do it at night before bed and if i realize I haven’t felt him in a while.

I do it everyday as I think of it.  Pick when jiddonis active and then just count
