It’s called a stork bite. It’s a common birth mark. Sometimes they fade away, sometimes they don’t. My daughter and I both were born with two; one in our forehead, one in the back of the neck like your son. I still have mine and I’m 28. My grandpa still has his and he’s 80!

My daughter has it. She’s 9 months. They’re also called salmon patches. She had some on her eyelids and side of her nose but those faded. The ones on the back of her head are smaller but still there.

isn't it just like little red dots? my son has it in the same spot and has since birth, he's now 3. My nephew has it too in the same spot and he's 4. I never knew what it was.

I had one as a baby but mine was on my tummy and the dr called it a strawberry strawberry’s are different from these tho since they are more bumpy but these supposedly only run in the moms family and only get them from the moms side since I had one so does my son but his is just like this but his dr said it’s called angel kisses and some say it’s the stork bite I guess it depends where your from but around I’m from it’s angel kisses but yeah it’s a birthmark my strawberry birth mark went away it used to cover my whole tummy was completely gone by the time I was a teenager

birth mark. my son was born with so much hair that I didn't even notice it. his pediatrician said "this is just a birth mark, nothing to worry about.  I have one too"
