Well I went in my regular iron infusion at the hospital. Probably an hour visit. I arrive expecting the usual iv and watch tv. But my blood pressure seemed pretty high. 177/144 after being asked how I felt they proceeded to tell me to head to the snuggery. There I spoke with a dr about my bp. Then she left for about 10 minutes and said they were going to induce me. Shocked I of course called family. Unfortunately my boyfriend was camping an hour away without phone service. All of this going on I just couldn’t believe she was coming!! So relived at the same time. I was just as ready to get her out! All together I was in labor for about 3.5 hours, she was just peeking out here and there. But I refused to have a csection and my widwife knew that. Finally after all the papers were filled out and ready they called the dr in. She was as egar as I was. So we did an episiotomy. The recovery isn’t fun but Kaydence Marie was absolutely worth every bit of pain. So there’s my story. An hour visit turned into 4 days.
