I just had a baby 3 weeks ago, i’ve always read birth stories and some made me cry a little or at least made me feel emotional lol anyways I was sure I was gonna cry when I had my LO 😕 but when he was born I didnt cry or even felt like crying is that weird ?  😫

I didn’t cry, I was mostly in shock/excited that he was finally here

I didn’t cry with my first, I remember being in awe of her and just so relieved that labor was over and so so tired.

You know, I asked the same thing after having my first daughter because I thought it was normal for woman to cry after labor/birth but I didn't. But I asked my mom (who had 5 kids) and her response was she only cried with me(5th child) but because I was a girl not a boy (I was her 4th girl). So in a way, that made me feel better about not crying after having my first born and come to think of it, I didn't cry after having my youngest either. 
Anyways, I think it's normal to cry but it's also normal to not, doesn't mean you don't love your baby. Congratulations on welcoming your baby into this world! There will be plenty of other times your child will make your cry. Trust me. 😂😊❤️

I cried when my daughter was finally taken out of me & I think it was mostly relief that it was over & that she was ok, my labor was over 52 hours & I pushed for 4.5 hours & then ended up w/ a csection, I was sooooo exhausted & just ready to see her so I bawled as kind of a release of all the emotions I’d been dealing w/ for over 2 days

I didn’t cry when. I had my son.. but I did go all natural hahaha so I think I was just In shock n hormones all wonky .  Lol

I didn't cry when I had my daughter, but I guess my husband did when I had my 5 minute contraction because I was in so much pain in that moment (pain med free birth with some pitocin). I love my daughter so much and was just so happy she was out! Ironically I teared up we hen my niece was born, but that was mostly because of my SIL expressions and emotions

I did not cry with my son. But with my daughter I’m not to sure, i don’t think I did but I think I need to ask my husband. He cried with both.

I didn’t cry with my first or my second, but I have a feeling I will cry this time around. Things are so different and it’s been a really long pregnancy.

Cry from emotion I think I had tears of exhaustion because I was passing out. With my daughter I was much more alert and prepared and after I delivered her I got to hold her immediately and it was so amazing and beautiful and I cried like a baby.
