The implants side effects

Hey! So i should be getting a contraceptive implant in two days and its kinda nerve wracking (its my first contraception apart from condoms ofc), ive heard that it can have some annoying side effects (acne, mood swings) but i guess it really does depend on the person. I feel like the effects might be the same as being on your period?

Im wondering if anyone who has the implant or has had the implant can tell me more about it, and how long the effects lasted (if you had any).
