So embarrassing!

So my MIL offered to take my daughter to the bus stop today. We live 4 miles up a dirt road so the drive alone is about 30-40 minutes. I was in the kitchen of the family ranch house cleaning up. It’s an old style house and is set up like a hotel. The rooms are all separate with a walk way out front. While I’m in the kitchen I let a fart rip. Nothing big but it smells like death!! I then spot my MIL coming back up the road and this smell is lingering big time! So I quickly make my way back to the room where my husband and my son are still asleep. She had to have smelled it when she walked in though.
