How would you wear your hair with this dress?

my hair is grey/platinum and I have it curled today and tried on the dress with it and it looks to busy with the frills at the top, I'm not good at up do's.

maybe loose finger waves? Or straighten it with the ends flipped out and throw a braid in. kinda like this.

I'm really bad with hair and my favorite thing to do when I need something "fancy" is to do a low ponytail and pull it through so you get that twist on the sides (hope you know what I mean. It's hard to explain hair lol). Then I braid the ponytail and roll it up and pin it in place. It takes just a few minutes and looks really nice. You could even put some pretty pins in off center or a ribbon/headband to add some sparkle.
