Is anyone here taking Synthroid?

Does anyone here take Synthroid? Or levothyroxine?

As soon as you know you are pregnant, you should arrange to have a thyroid function test. The dose of levothyroxine that you were taking before pregnancy may need to be increased. This is especially important during the first twelve weeks of pregnancy before the unborn baby has developed its own thyroid gland. You should have regular blood tests throughout your pregnancy so that your dose can be adjusted if necessary. If you are prescribed iron or calcium you should take these several hours before or after the levothyroxine since these can alter the absorption of levothyroxine.

I'm on name brand Synthroid, and my mfm specialist told me it's really important to stay on while TTC and while pregnant. Side note: the name brand of Synthroid is actually better metabolized and used by your body than the generic.  Most name brand and generic medications are interchangeable and equally effective, but not Synthroid. That's what every doctor I, my sister, and my mom has ever had said, as well as almost any trusted source online.

I'm on levo because I had thyroid cancer. I just wondered if anyone's dose changed after becoming pregnant!

My dude varies while pregnant.  I'm now on Synthroid 200 plus +25.. So a total of 225mcg

Im taking 112 mcg since I was 16 levo

Levo at 125mcg.  Hashimotos Thyroiditis (hypo).    Dosage didn't need to change when I became pregnant.  And I had it since I was 14.

I take levothuroxine 150mcg have been on it due to Graves disease even before I got pregnant.  My dosage went up once I got pregnant.
