Pregnancy cramps the same or different from af cramps?

AF is due tomorrow. I'm having mild cramping (exactly like my normal cramping) but I've tested the last few days and I've had vvfl on all of them... including the one I took today. I was just curious if the cramps were the same because it sure feels like af is coming but the tests have me thrown. I sure hope it doesn't show.

ok, I said same because it's the same kind of pain, but definitely not as intense.  my menstrual cramps would keep me home from work some days,  they were so bad.  in pregnancy,  the cramps were the same feeling,  but mild and didn't bother me much

They feel similar but pregnancy cramps should be much more mild than period cramps. Severe cramps during pregnancy is not a good thing and you should call your Dr ASAP but light mild cramping is normal as long as it’s not accompanied but bleeding.
