Dilation Progression

Just curious how quickly you all progressed through dilation. This is my third pregnancy. My last was induced, but I literally went from 4 to 10 in the time it took the nurse to check me and walk to the door lol. I'm 36 weeks and I was checked today but I'm not quite 1 cm dilated. I know it's still early, but for those who've had multiple babies, did you progress faster with each pregnancy or did it vary?
