I’ve never posted on here, but I’m in a huge issue. I’ve been dating this guy for 3 months now. We were talking a long time before deciding to take things further. I’m starting to get really attached to this guy.

I have a past boyfriend that I still talk to as friends. We dated for 3 years, long distance, before I decided to break it off. I still love him as my best friend. We made a promise to not have sex until we could see each other again. I broke that promise a while ago during a break in our friendship. I told him, and he’s furious.

I need advice/ closure about this. I don’t think I did the wrong thing. I don’t believe that it was healthy to continue that promise, as a woman who needs love and passion in her life.

I believe you need to ask yourself what decision contains more peace? If you feel in your heart you have moved on romantically speaking from your ex then its ok. And you shouldnt feel bad about it. Own your decisions. Best wishes on your journey.

I think you did a bad thing. You shouldn't have broken the promise. When you decided that you didn't want to stick to it anymore you should have told him and then had sex with someone. Then you wouldn't have broken a promise and having sex with someone because you need passion in your life would be fine

Long distance is hard. Very hard. Been there, done that. IMHO I would let things rest, for now anyway. You broke things off for a reason, passion!!! If you patch things up, won't you just do the same thing again anyway?
