How to clean around dry blood around stitches?

My 7 year old was drinking from a glass cup (mind you I always serve in plastic cups) but my daughter pour her own apple juice and some how ended up dropping the glass and stepped right onto the broken glass. So here we are now with stitches... her first stitches ever. She's such a drama queen when it comes to minor bruises and stretches. So this is a huge deal I can't even get near her foot, but we must clean it. 
Best way to remove dry blood around stitches?

I’d get a qtip and some warm water.

Its been a few years since I last had stitches, but I was told water, soap, neosporn and peroxide

Soap and water.   Do NOT soak it just wash it and Pat dry.   Do NOT put peroxide on it do Not apply any ointment.   Have her do it.

I work at a dermatology practice we usually tell patients to clean it with soap and water and then apply bacitracin over it. You can also use aquaphor as well.

If she won’t let you touch it you’ll have to have her be held down... cause it can get infected if not cleaned. My sister is the same way she feel and split her knee open and would cry and scream if you came near it my parents had to hold her down while the other cleaned it. Don’t need that baby getting staff or prolong healing
