Does breastfeeding make you thirsty?

I’m a ftm. My little one is 1 month today! Whenever I feed her, I get extremely extremely thirsty after. I drink a gallon of water a day, which is a MASSIVE difference from how much water I used to drink before. Im super stoked I drink more water now because it seems like my skin has cleared up completely, but does anyone else experience this? Just wondering 😇

Thirsty & hungry for me. Drink lots of water or coconut milk, because hydration is key for you and your milk. Also eating a lot of protein helps your energy levels. I eat lots of peanut butter toast (not gonna lie, i put chocolate chips on it sometimes) and chicken stir fry with quinoa for my second dinners lol

I'm super thirsty all the time. Sometimes I drink so much my stomach hurts and I'm still so thirsty I could drink a lake. 😧

Breastmilk is mostly water so it's important to stay hydrated.

Very normal. I couldn’t get enough water with my daughter either. It was annoying but worth it.
