Should the world all use one currency?

For example, should every country change their currency to euros, or should we keep them as they are (Euros, pounds, US dollars, AU dollars, yen, rupiah, etc.)
What would be the pros and cons of changing to one currency?

No, because everything has a different value depending where you are. It would create the insanely rich in low income nations and incredibly poor in high income nations.

Imagine how difficult that would be to accomplish. Banks globally having to trade the money people have been using for decades for the "new money". And what about the people that can't get to a bank? What about the extremely rural people who don't have access to the news and wouldn't even realize what was happening? And it would just be impossible to get everybody to be okay with giving up their money (with their countries historic leaders) because there's a certain amount of pride that is connected to it. I think money is a part of culture. I like traveling to other places because I'll keep a $1 bill as a little souvenir because it's so different than American money.

Keep them as they are. A lot of countries I would assume live off the fact that people travel over to buy items cheaper due to the exchange rate and prices of goods. It would take that aspect away I would assume.

I said no because I think it takes away from the culture! I love bringing home euros back to the states as a souvenir. Some currency, like ours, have things on them to represent the country. We have our presidents on our currency

Part of being a sovereign nation is having your own currency. If there is only one currency who would control it? Who decides how it is distributed and used across the world? Without economic equality going to one currency would severely hurt underdeveloped nations. 
I can see several scenarios play out. Imaging being able to buy a second home across the globe because suddenly your minimum wage salary is worth more elsewhere. Then you decide to retire there. But the people that live there can’t compete with foreign dollars and can’t buy land. It’s sad to think about all of the possible bad outcomes.

I mean, that would suck for the global economy. The foreign exchange market is the largest, most liquid market in the world with an average daily trading volume exceeding $5 trillion (I’m in finance so I deal with this stuff every day).
