Do you agree with this?

Question

Do you agree that your husband comes before your child? Why or why not.
I believe not. I didn't even think this was an actual question until I came across it on Facebook and was shocked by how many women would put their spouse before their children.
Update: All these responses are crazy!! I'm so shocked by how many of you would choose someone you met over someone you created! I understand the whole my child should see what a good relationship is but I'm sorry I'd much rather have a happy child than a happy husband 🤷🏻‍♀️

I do. And not in the "I love him more" or "I'd save him first in a fire" sense. I put my husband first in the sense that he is my life partner. I would not have a son without him. One day our son will grow up and leave and it will be just my husband and I again. Having a healthy and loving relationship with him is setting a good example for our son and us maintaining our marriage will allow us to have an overall happy home.

My child will always come first because my husband is a grown man. He can take care of himself with out without me. My child will always need me, want me, rely on me. My husband even told me our daughter will always come before one of us. I don’t fix my husbands dinner plates either... he is a grown man. And plus we are two different people.. my plate is different than the plate he would make. My husband can get mad at me all he wants because I “pay more attention to my daughter” but she’s a baby who can’t meet her own needs, he can.

I think there are some things you need to put your husband first before and some things your kids before. an infant for example needs to be put first. if your husband says I'm hungry!! and your child is crying for food, you feed your child and tell him to get his own food because he's a grown man. (my husband just assumes this and usually gets us both food) but if we are talking about rules set for the house or boundaries, your husband and you should be on the same page. you shouldn't side with your child in front of your child. if you don't agree with your husband you talk privately about it. So in that case your putting your marriage first, and giving a good example to your children.

Our children come first. They’re are in our care and we are responsible for teaching them, loving them and providing for them. My husband and I will sacrifice things that we want as individuals and as a couple because we know that thing would not be what is best for our kids. Our children cannot provide for themselves. They are entirely dependant, whereas my husband and I can take care of ourselves. 
That doesn’t mean I let my relationship suffer. My husband and I have date nights and we communicate all the time. We make sure our relationship is strong and healthy. Our kids certainly have a good example. I don’t neglect my husband because my kids come first. But if my kid is crying and my husband needs support with something I’ll comfort my kid then help my husband. He’d do the same. We can make sure we are both happy and secure in our marriage while putting our children first.

if you want your child to grow up and know what a healthy relationship is, you need to put your spouse first. if the child grows up seeing that they are put before the spouse, they will learn to take advantage of that, and in turn learn to expect that from everyone.

I love my children more than anyone could ever know, however, my spouse will always come first. I chose him and he chose me. Our children are the greatest gift God has ever blessed us with, however, they were made through the act of our love. I want my children to be in healthy and happy relationships and that is why I try my hardest every day to model what that looks like through my relationship with their father and my husband. 
I will always take care of them, and I pray they never think I don’t love them, but I want them to also know that they are the result of two people who love each other and that relationship was brought together with Gods hands.

No one comes before my children. Not even me. Why would i put their father before them? My kids comes first no matter what every single time. Any "man" that feels he should come before his children needs a reality check.

I think it depends on the situations. In terms of discipline and respect, I would say I would back my husband. Now if my husband was hurting the children, there is no way I would back him.

My husband is first. If I let that relationship slide and we fall away from each other where does that leave me when my kids are out of the house, if we’re still married we will be strangers. I love my kids and they take up a lot of my attention now because they’re both little.  But a marriage relationship is with a person you chose who gave you your children.

My child comes first regardless my fiance is a grown adult who can take care of himself my child cant that doesnt mean our relationship isint strong or that it will fall apart.
