How much should baby eat?

Okay I have a 2 week old (tomorrow) formula fed boy. He was born at 9 pounds 11 ounces and now weighs 9 pounds 10 ounces. He eats 3 ounces every 2-3 hours. Is this average or am I feeding him too much? Too little? I'm a first time mom

At 2 weeks my guy was eating 4oz every 2 hours. By 5 weeks he was 6oz every two hours, and still eats 6oz every two hours at 11 weeks.
You cant overfeed a baby momma, just feed when he wants.

My LO was born 9.3 lbs & he ate 2-3 ounces every 2 hours... I started giving 4 ounces by 2 months every 3 hours

If he’s satisfied then I would keep feeding him the same. If he seems he wants more than offer an extra ounce or two. If he spits up then you know he’s good at the amount he was at. If not than I would give more. You can’t over feed, they know when to stop. Don’t worry, you’re just fine! He just might have a big appetite. My first was drinking 4-5 oz at that age, but my second was only drinking 3. Every baby is different. Go with his lead.
