Is this period cycle irregular? I'm 19 years old and otherwise healthy. I have always had pretty irregular periods though and I struggled with Anorexia about 5 years ago. When I was really sick, I didn't have my period for almost a year but I have been healthy for 5 years now. Before the eating disorder, I had an irregular period but I think its normal to have an irregular period when it's just starting. I started my period when I was 12.
